Why the Church?

We partner exclusively with the local church because it is God’s chosen instrument to transform a dying world as it proclaims and carries out the work of Jesus Christ.
The Church Abroad
Our church partners in the developing world are not only known, but trusted in their communities. They are known for their outstanding love for the poor and needy – and because of that, they can reach people that no other organization on earth can! In partnering with the local church, we equip them with the resources they need to do more.
The Church at Home
Your church plays an important role in this, as Christians here, alongside staff, volunteers and mentors on the field, take an active role in evangelizing and discipling children. Writing letters to a child, praying for them – these things matter far more than anyone can imagine. They give a child hope, just knowing that someone living sometimes thousands of miles away cares enough about them to encourage them and speak God’s truth into their lives.
Compassion connects your church with the church in the developing world to minister in the life of a child. We want to see the church shine as it fulfills its role as the light of the world, pointing the way to Salvation.
